How does Functional Medicine Strength and Conditioning Coaching Work?

The most crucial phase when we first start working together is the consultation. Before and during the initial consultation, we work collaboratively to gather information to build a picture of your health, your goals, and the challenges you’ve faced so far. 

We review 1 to 3 videos of you going through some given movements to help assess your ability. We also look at your medical history, current health status, nutrition habits, any signs and symptoms, as well as mental and emotional stressors. 

Once we collect that information, we may consider additional laboratory testing to help guide our recommendations and get to the bottom of your current challenges. We’ll also consider results from any previous tests you may have taken.

Then we’ll develop your individualised nutrition, training and lifestyle program, followed up with ongoing support and intermittent consultations.
